'Colleen's Kids' is a program we are dedicating to the co-creator of Apron Thyme, Colleen Emrich.

Colleen passed away from cancer this summer.  She was such a bright light and creative soul. Ever since she was a little girl, she knew she wanted to be a teacher.   After Teachers' College she worked in the school system teaching elementary students. She always saw the gifts in each child and provided them with a learning environment where they could flourish!

This program will aim to do just that. With the help of the local school's referrals and community support we will be providing a place in every Apron Thyme session for one sponsored child to build confidence in the kitchen!
